Oppimista’s curriculum is designed to be broad, balanced, and aligned with international standards while reflecting the school’s Finnish-inspired ethos. This means students experience a rich blend of academic rigour, creative exploration, skills development, and personal growth opportunities. 

In all cases, the chosen curriculum will be supplemented by Oppimista’s value-added programs, including robust language learning (with bilingual proficiency in English and the local language), digital literacy and AI education, character education, and wellness programs. Every Oppimista student’s learning journey is intended to be “ambitious” and “knowledge-rich,” meaning that standards are high and content is substantive across all subject areas, from math and science to literature and the arts. The breadth of the curriculum also encourages students to discover their individual talents and passions. 

Oppimista schools embrace technology not as a gimmick, but as a fundamental tool to enhance teaching and learning. The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a cornerstone of the strategy to deliver personalised, future-proof education. Schools are educating children for a future that is rapidly evolving, and AI is propelling education toward new horizons. At Oppimista, AI will be harnessed to improve the quality of teaching and learning for all students, ensuring that instruction can be tailored to individual needs and pacing. The vision is that every child could effectively have their tutor, an AI-enhanced learning system that adapts to their strengths, weaknesses, and interests. In practice, this means implementing adaptive learning platforms in core subjects, such as an AI-driven math software that presents problems of appropriate difficulty based on a student’s progress, offering easier practice if they are struggling or accelerated challenges if they’ve mastered a concept. Such personalised pathways ensure no student is left behind, and no student is held back from accelerating, creating a truly differentiated classroom experience.

Oppimista schools were established with an ambition to improve how we teach our children and put quality education within the reach of every learner.  We are teaching children for a future we do not yet know, and our passion is for every child, whatever their circumstances, to find their element or talent through engaging their interests with a creative and personalised curriculum. 

We strive to give them the vital technological skills for a developing world and future jobs, but combine this with a holistic well-being approach. This leads to happy, healthy, and successful lives. The learning skills developed can be applied to anything, but, more importantly, give them the love of lifelong learning. Further, I see learning as a transformative force for good, and technology as a tool that can unlock the potential of each student.
